Get drawing for safety

Rio Tinto Coal Australia is once again inviting all budding young artists to enter the safety calendar competition.
Last year's competition attracted 42 entries from the children of our employees, and we are hoping for even more colourful entries this year.
It's a good opportunity for you to sit down with your children and ask them to draw a picture using pens, paints or pencils, themed 'to me, being safe means...'
Every entry will receive a certificate of recognition and the 12 most creative drawings will be published in the 2009 calendar and receive a great prize.
Entries for the 2009 calendar close 26 Friday September 2008.
Copies of the new calendar will be distributed with the December issue of Mine Matters, so get drawing and send in your entries today.
Conditions of Entry:
• Entries should be on white paper, A4 size, not folded.
• The theme is 'to me, being safe means...' It could be safety when you are indoors, outdoors, at home or whatever you would like.
• Write a safety slogan on the work.
• Print a name and age neatly in a corner of the entry (on the front).
• Print a postal address, parent's name and site they work at (on the back).
• Please include a colour photograph of the child. (please make sure your name and address are on the back of the photo).
• The competition is open to children 16 years and under.
The competition will close at 5pm on 26 Friday September, and entries should be forwarded to Kathryn Harrigan, RTCA External Relations, GPO Box 391, BRISBANE QLD 4001.
